Refund Policy
NAMA Refund Policy
The National Association of Media Arts (NAMA) is committed to transparency and fairness regarding payments for memberships, event registrations, workshops, competitions, and other services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be requested and processed.
1. General Policy

All payments made to NAMA are subject to this Refund Policy.

Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the conditions outlined below.

Fees paid through unofficial channels or third parties without prior NAMA authorization will not be eligible for refunds.
2. Membership Fees
Membership fees are non-refundable, except in cases where NAMA is unable to provide the services promised at the time of registration.
Members who have paid but wish to cancel their membership must notify NAMA in writing. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Event Registrations & Workshops
Requests for refunds must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the scheduled event or workshop.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund, except in exceptional circumstances approved by NAMA.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for registration, unless otherwise agreed.
4. Competitions & Submission Fees
Submission fees for competitions, including film, animation, or media contests, are non-refundable once an entry has been submitted.
Incomplete or incorrect submissions may result in disqualification, but fees will not be refunded.
5. Sponsorships & Partnerships
Payments made as part of sponsorship agreements or partnership contributions are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise specified in a signed agreement.
6. Exceptional Circumstances
NAMA may, at its discretion, consider refunds or partial refunds for situations such as:
Event cancellation or postponement by NAMA
Verified medical emergencies
Force majeure events beyond the control of the participant or NAMA

Requests should include the payment receipt, participant details, and reason for the refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.
